BUG: (Sporadic) hanging when the right-arrow button is pressed

There would be moments when I press the right-arrow button on my Pretzel application (on Windows) it seems to hang and I would see the turning animation on some of the buttons. The workaround for me was to close and re-open the application. The issue happens sporadically, i.e. not every time I press on the right-arrow.
