Compact mode!
Allow the desktop player to be put into a compact mode, somewhere around the size of the legacy player. Have some tabs - "Now Playing", "Stations", "Playlists" (once they're implemented), etc. on the left side for navigation.

Cassie BeyerI was super disappointed when I was forced to switch to the new design this weekend, with the lack of a compact version definitely one of my objections. For me, it doesn't even need to be in the app. I was using the browser version and docking it in OBS. It sized just fine. Now I do that and I can only see a tiny bit of the player unless I scroll, which completely negates the usefulness of docking it.

onyxYes! The compact view was much more convenient since I have lots of apps open in order to run the stream.

VostikThe new player not having a compact version almost drives me away from using it. The stream landscape is precious with all that we use and an oversized player that cannot be reduced to bare essentials is a nuisance. May have to switch if not handled quickly enough.

ArkiTechy MergedMany streamers found that docking a web version of the player in OBS works great. With recent versions this has not been working because the site does not scale the player small enough.
Please add this ability as it is a powerful streamer tool -

ArkiTechyI recently added a suggestion for a webplayer that can scale for OBS. [link removed by Admin. Suggestion merged into this post.]
