Linux Native/Friendly Desktop Player
Current legacy player can be installed via WINE on Linux in order to take advantage of the "write to file" options, which are instrumental in overlays and other data tools.
However, the new Beta version of the desktop app does not work under WINE. Upon testing it appears the biggest hurdle is UWP, which there are no workarounds for at this time.
Additionally it appears that Pretzel Rocks is built using Electron, which can also be built for Linux compatibility.
This route will be considerably easier to work with for those seeking to use Pretzel Rocks on Linux, and there have been several requests for it already in the Discord.

DaveYeah +1 one for this. If it's Electron should totally work. Happy to test on a few distros if you like?

TaruliaIn the mean time while this is still "Under consideration", check the OBS plugin "tuna" by univrsal. It now includes a browser script for Pretzel that can take care of getting the song information from Pretzel to OBS. You can use it in any browser that supports the GreaseMonkey/Tampermonkey or other user-script extensions.
